As you learn about media and gender from a critical/cultural perspective, you are undoubtedly thinking about your own gender identity and how it has been constructed in and in opposition to the media cultures in which you engage. In this assignment, you have two options: (1) write a letter to yourself considering what we have learned thus far and how it can help you think critically about your own gender identity construction and performance or (2) create a playlist with liner notes that reflects your gender identity construction and performance.  In either case, please make sure to reference at least 3 of the course texts we have already read or watched.  Your task is to demonstrate how you are using the course material to reflect on your own gender.
