- Explain briefly a topic you are considering for your informative speech, and explain your personal interest in speaking on this topic.
- Why is your speech on this topic appropriate for your audience? How will they benefit from the information that you will present?
- What sources will you look at for your research? Be specific (e.g., don’t just write “newspapers”; write The Washington Post, etc.). Find at least three.
- Identify and briefly explain an alternative topic that you could use for this assignment (repeating the above questions).
