As a BSW, you are going to play around with your search terms and you should pull any articles that you find that are relevant. Once you identify the best set of search terms, go back and be thorough by going through this process. The initial number identified is typically quite large, but can be smaller if you have a very new topic area or are searching a specific database. Keep brief notes about why you chose your final terms, other terms you tried but ruled out, etc. You will need to describe this entire process in a few sentences in your report to best describe your search, but you will keep your notes to CYA.
