Visit a gallery or a museum. While, normally, it would be preferable to go to a gallery or museum in person, you can also visit one virtually. Then, find three different paintings, including:

• One representational painting
• One abstract painting
• One portrait

For each painting, write a brief description based on the information provided in this chapter, including the media (tempera, fresca, oil, etc.) and elements (line, color, texture, etc.) present in each painting.
