Abstract
As the aquaculture is one of the main grown and is an integral part of the global food chain, a wireless sensor network monitoring and control system for the aquaculture is needed to detect and control water quality and related parameters such as temperature, pH values, dissolved oxygen, and water-level in real time. So, for this we are going to deploy a sensor node to collect these parameters. And a centralized host system will be needed to store the collection of data and to be analyzed and sent to the responsible persons from host system to the mobile using the Global System for Mobile.
Objective:
The primary aim of this paper is to determine the quality of the water by taking reading from the deployed sensor nodes and to improve the environmental control, reduce catastrophic losses, reduce production cost and improve product quality.
Problem Statement
As from the deployment of sensor node it has to collect the data periodically and need to communicate with the host system then there might be a issue with quality of the communication means which type of protocol will be better suited for the transmission of data, battery performance will arise so need to further research on this issues and will come the better optimized solution.
