You will explore their history, theoretical background, and purpose through a victimological lens
(i.e., the concepts covered in class and in the readings)
- The report MUST provide a clear, concise and accurate history of the identified service. This history is based on the official documents and clearly relates this history to the rest of the paper.
- The paper clearly and correctly identifies the theoretical and/or conceptual underpinnings and purpose of the service, demonstrating clear evidence from course materials for these claims.
- The paper critically and appropriately analyzes the service using numerous considerations from course materials. The paper thoughtfully analyzes the benefits and drawbacks of the service, commenting on any opportunities or constraints for change and demonstrating a breadth of understanding of victimology.
- The writing is clear, concise and easy to follow. Sentences flow together smoothly. The tense is consistent (past, present). There is subject/verb consistency. There are no spelling or grammatical errors.
- APA format is used correctly in both in text citations and references and everything is properly cited. The paper uses 12pt, Times New Roman font and is double spaced with 2.54cm margins. The paper is 6 pages in length, excluding references.
