I am supposed to submit a draft by 16th but the paper is due on the 28

What to submit: Final version of Formal Strategic Plan Report that includes: Full report Executive summary Marketing plan Assessment plan You should build on your draft report and submit a 4,000-word (approximately 15 double-spaced pages) formal strategic report. It must be written in APA format (i.e., 12-point, TNR font, double-spaced, 1” inch margins, title page, running head/page numbers, references page) and include appropriate APA in-text citations. You are encouraged to include up to two figures (e.g., charts, graphs) in your document, but they should not take up more than ¼ of the page on which they appear. Your full report should include: Front Matter Elements (does NOT count towards page total) Title page (in APA format): Conveys the specific purpose of the report and gains the attention of the intended audience (i.e., CEO of your company) Table of contents: Includes relevant sections and their page numbers List of figures (if applicable): Contains the figure names and their page numbers Main Elements (does count towards page limit) Introduction/Background (250 words, 3/4 page): Provide a detailed picture of the purpose of the report and a complete overview of the report. In this section, you should set up the topic of the report, address why it is important for your audience, and preview how you will examine it in the rest of the paper. Review of Research (750 words, 2.5 to 3 pages): This section must include the results of your research, specifically: A literature review that details what scholars have to say about your topic. In other words, what information have you gained from academic journals and other reputable research in relation to your topic? A review of best practices that details what other organizations are doing to address your topic. What lessons were learned in the case study associated with your topic? What are other organizations’ policies towards your topic (if applicable)? What does the popular press say about your topic (if applicable)? Proposed Solutions (1,000 words, 3 pages): Provide a detailed discussion of the possible solutions and pros and cons of each. This section must include the following information: A discussion of all of the feasible solutions for your topic, including a discussion of their pros and cons. You must outline at least 3 different solutions to the problem/issue/pressure and give at least one example of each (i.e., Solution 1 and example[s], Solution 2 and example[s], Solution 3 and example[s]). If there are significant risks, costs, or obstacles associated with implementation, you should discuss them in this section. Recommendations and Implementation Plan (750 words, 2.5 to 3 pages): This section must include a proposal for a course of action, specifically: A discussion of which proposed solution(s) you ultimately recommend and why your recommendation is the best to serve the company/employees/customers/clients. Detail the specific steps of how and when to implement the recommendation(s). You may include the marketing plan and assessment plan here (see below). These supporting documents DO count toward required page total. Conclude by summarizing the the goal of the recommendation. What will happen if the decision-maker does not implement the recommendation or choose between policy options? What is there to gain by following your recommendations? This is your opportunity to remind your reader of the imperative of your research and recommendations. Reference list (does NOT count towards page total) References: Cite all sources in APA style on a separate References page Supporting documents: You may include the marketing plan and assessment plan here (see below). These supporting documents DO count toward required page total. Your executive summary should include: A 500-word (1- to 2-page) succinct review of your main points. Remember, the purpose of an executive summary is offering an extended, but persuasive abstract. Imagine you are writing to a busy executive who wants the main highlights from your report and needs to be persuaded to buy into your ideas and read further. From Canavor (2016), an Executive Summary is “where you tell readers what the rest of the material means and why they should care.” See examples of executive summaries within each chapter of your textbook. The executive summary should appear at the beginning of your report (after your title page) and must be written in APA format (i.e., 12-point, TNR font, double-spaced, 1” inch margins, running head/page numbers) and include appropriate APA in-text citations. Your marketing plan should include: A 750-word (2.5- to 3-page) description of how this solution would be communicated to relevant parties within the company or with people outside the company. For instance, how will your company educate employees about your new policy or course of action? How will you convince them this is a beneficial change? How will you inform vendors, clients, or the public at large about your changes in a way that promotes buy in and positive impressions (if applicable)? Are there any downsides to your recommendation that you need to address (e.g., anticipated resistance to change, more work, higher costs, reduction of resources, complexity/information overload)? As part of your description, you may include templates for communication (e.g., email templates for internal/external communication, templates for social media posts, agendas for meetings, memos), which WILL count toward your page total. However, you should not rely solely on templates here – you must include an overall explanation of how your proposed solutions/recommendations should be communicated and marketed. For examples, see: InternalMarketing_Examples.docx The marketing plan should appear either within your implementation plan (see above) or at the end of your document like an appendix and must be written in APA format (i.e., 12-point, TNR font, double-spaced, 1” inch margins, running head/page numbers) and include appropriate APA in-text citations (if applicable). Your assessment plan should include: A 500-word (1- to 2-page) description of a method for evaluating your recommendation if your company were to implement your ideas. If your company is going to spend time and resources following through with your recommendation, executives will want to know that your solution or policy has worked. Therefore, you should design a set of focus group questions, a survey, or some other feedback collection method (or a combination of methods) to assess whether your recommended plan of action is successful. You should include not only the assessment tool (e.g., focus group questions), but also a description of how you will use the tool in evaluating (and perhaps revising) your plan. You will NOT have to actually carry out these focus groups or distribute the survey, but instead you are planning for how you might evaluate the success of your recommendation if it were implemented. For examples, see: ExampleAssessmentQuestions.docx The assessment plan should appear either within your implementation plan (see above) or at the end of your document like an appendix and must be written in APA format (i.e., 12-point, TNR font, double-spaced, 1” inch margins, running head/page numbers) and include appropriate APA in-text citations (if applicable).
