Working from a list of topic areas (see below) students to define their own essay title, agree this with their tutor and write a 2,000 word essay.
This individual assignment assesses your ability to:
Further develop understanding on a particular topic and critically evaluate the key issues. (Module Learning Outcome 2)
In order to achieve a high grade your work should be carefully researched, clearly argued, well presented and well structured. (Hand written work is unacceptable)
Check your referencing style to the acceptable university referencing style (Harvard)- see Learning Resource Centre information for clarity.
All assessment regulations, e.g concerning collusion, plagiarism, extenuating circumstances, submission date will be applied in full.

Please note:
Online submission is mandatory. You may submit your work through the assessment area of course resources as many times as you like before the deadline date. The assessment will be submitted via Turnitin software which checks for plagiarism. The assessment marked will be the final one submitted at the end of the day on 14th May 2021, 23.59hrs.
