It’s probably a good idea to watch the film with a pen in hand or document open to take notes. Watch it multiple times and reflect on the questions fully before composing your discussion post!

Instructions

Now that you’ve watched Two Cars, One Night, write a reflective discussion post that addresses BOTH of the following questions:

  • How does your chosen component of cinematography (tonalities, speed of motion, or perspective) help Waititi recreate memories from his childhood?
    • Also, if you were to make a film about your childhood, would you use any of the same techniques used in this film? Or would you choose different techniques? Feel free to consider mise-en-scène as well. Explain why.

Your reflective post should be 150-300 words and is due Friday, 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time.

A Works Cited page is not required, but please include the time range of scenes or shots you may describe, as per MLALinks to an external site.: (HH:MM:SS-HH:MM:SS).
