For this assignment, you will select a community meeting or an organizational board meeting to attend outside of class and submit a reflection paper on the experience. Specifically, students should select a public meeting of a city council, special commission, school board meeting, etc. or a meeting of the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization to attend in advance of the due date of this assignment. (Online meetings are permitted.) After the meeting, write a clear and concise paper that includes the following: ● A brief description of the purpose of the meeting or organization. 
● Identify three specific insights about macro practice that you gained from attending the meeting and why these stood out to you. Be sure to connect what you learned to course concepts.
 ● Connect what you observed at the meeting to what you’ve learned in class and from course readings about entering and engaging within the policy, community, and/or organizational context. Discuss the specific purpose of the meeting or organization and considerations for members of the community or organization AND social workers. This paper should be 3-4 pages, substantially integrate at least 3 sources, and adhere to proper APA formatting (7th Ed.).

This is a school commitee meeting. It is for waltham public school (i live in waltham ma so this reflects on the community i live in which is important to know)
