Body Modification Assignment

Research and present your findings regarding Body Modification. Be sure to list the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE,WHY, HOW of your findings.

Students use the Internet (and other resources if available) to find information on Body Modification. 

Students should be able to present the following:

How has Body Modificationinfluenced society as a whole?

Show 4 different aspects of Body Modification:

Piercing, Plastic Surgery, scarification, Tattooing.

Show examples from different parts of the world and show how cultures believe it enhances Body Image.

After finding information on their topic, primarily through the Internet, students create a computer-aided presentation to the class lasting 15 minutes and a series of discussion questions to involve the class in a 5-minute discussion of the topic following the presentation.  They will also create a class handout.
