Freewrite on your research theme by putting all ideas that come to your mind, both your findings and observations.

• Develop an outline where you plan the content of your draft.  Use a numbered, lettered, or bullet-point list of ideas you intend to include in your introduction, body section, and conclusion.
• Draft.  Take your outline and promptly begin typing up the content, following the outline (do not heavily focus on grammar yet as you goal it to generate as much content as possible).  Please remember your outline is tentative, so if you decide to modify it, that is fine! 
• Support your claims and reasons with evidence and vivid details.  Ensure every paragraph has some sort of evidence and remember to meet all the three appeals of persuasion: ethos, pathos, logos.
