Exam Question:  

Following the lead of the Texas legislature, several states have passed bills that may criminalize abortion, criminalize informing or assisting anyone to get information about or provide access to an abortion..Many of these bills enable vigilante enforcement by empowering citizens to bring suit against any of the persons named in the particular abortion case, and stipulating judgements to be paid to these activist citizens.

Select at least three states which have passed new abortion bills.  Discuss how each of these states may have abrogated rights guaranteed to citizens and other residents under the Constitution, major federal court decisions, or the Bill of Rights.  Suppose that an abortion seeker leaves the state.  Is there any express or implied legal or criminal mechanism to bring that person back into her original state of residence.”
