Career and personal/social event exploration

Career:

So you’ve completed a career event/activity, now what? Reflecting on an experience, whatever it is, is a great way to learn what you like, don’t like, what you would continue, stop or start.

In order to enrich your experiences with this program (and earn the full grade!) please complete 1 reflection for each activity in the program (3 reflections in total)

Each reflection will be 200-400 words and submitted to Quercus for review.

You can write what you’d like, we’ve provided guidance below if you’re not sure where to begin.

If you have any additional questions, post in the Mentorship folder on Piazza.

Guiding Questions:

1. What is the name of the event? Why did you choose to attend this career event?

2. What were you hoping to learn from the event, and did you learn that or anything else?

3. What was the biggest takeaway for you from the event? Was it beneficial (why or why not?)?

4. Did this event help provide any insight on careers, jobs, paths? (It is ok if it didn’t!)

5. Would you recommend this event to your friends?

The social event that I choose is: Career Exploration Workshop (more about a statistical way)

(plz write in paragraph form)
