Write an introductory paragraph (minimum 250 words) answering the following:
What objectives or purposes informed your collection, research, and analytical practice? How did you make your selections?What themes, concepts, juxtapositions, and patterns have emerged from this process? What common features do your selections have?How do you identify and frame your role as a researcher, interpreter, and producer of visual culture? What was your role in this process? How will this research and analysis impact your role as a creative professional? What are you taking away from this project?3. Select one example from the three final visual selections to apply all modes of analysis so that the example is considered formally, contextually, and through an interpretative strategy. Be sure to clearly identify the example you are writing on. Use course tools, including your previous posts, instructor feedback, our glossary, and the interpretative strategies explored throughout the course. This is an opportunity to edit, correct, and expand your previous work, building upon the work that you have already accomplished. You may cut/paste from previous posts, making sure that you expand and edit as needed. This portion of the Final Synthesis will range between 750-1250 words.
4. Using parenthetical citations, e.g. (Smith, 95), cite your sources for direct quotations and for any new ideas that you learned. See specific guidelines for parenthetical citations at the Purdue website
Prepare an alphabetized bibliography with a minimum of six sources listed following MLA format:

Your total post, including your introductory paragraph and your complete analysis, will range between 1,000-1,500 words.

Create a caption to label each of your images with the following information:

(100 points) 
COLLECTION OVERVIEW (30 points): The student carefully chooses three final selections to represent the collection. The student identifies the underlying focus of the collection demonstrating a strong understanding of the research process and its relationship to creative or scholarly goals. 
CAPTIONS and CITATIONS (20 points): Complete captions are provided for three final selections. Complete citations for 6+ written sources are listed alphabetically in the bibliography. Parenthetical citations are used to cite sources where appropriate.
ANALYSIS and VOCABULARY (30 points): The student incorporates the formal, contextual, and interpretative strategies as drawn from our coursework in the analysis of one selection. The student demonstrates awareness of visual literacy and critical thinking. The student consults written sources to support analysis. Student incorporates appropriate vocabulary terms from text and class discussion. 
ORGANIZATION and CLARITY (20 points): Student follows the assignment guidelines utilizing grammar and spell-check, observes word minimum, and project format.
