Create/Find & Explain an Image: As part of the larger project, you will create or find an image that responds in some way to the issue, idea, or concept you identified during the inquiry and research phase. The image must be uploaded to the Discussion Board along with your writing about the choices you made in creating the image.   

Post your image and writing that addresses some (not all) of the following questions in about 750 words (3 pages double spaced):

• Why did you make the choices you did in creating or finding your image?
• How does the image connect to the specific issue you identified in the research and inquiry phase?
• What do the choices you made mean to you and what do you think they might mean to a viewer/different viewer?  
• Why did you arrange the image the way you did? 
• In what ways did creating or finding the image give you a different perspective on your issue or question?
• How did the research you did on your issue/question inform your image creation? Where does the research show up in your image?  

Criteria:

• Uploaded copy of the image you created
• Approximately 750 words (3 pages double spaced) that address the questions and show you have thought about the connection and organization of your ideas 
• For each quotation/paraphrase, include MLA style in text citation with the author’s last name and page number in parentheses
• Include MLA style Works Cited entries for all sources cited in your writing
