Q3. There are a variety of training issues that can result from the external environment. Briefly explain any 5 Legal issues that might present itself to an organization.  From your direct or indirect experiences give examples of each. Also explain how an organization can overcome these issues.

Q4. What is cross cultural preparation? Why does an organization need to be cross culturally prepared? What implications do cultural differences have on training programs? Give at least 2 examples from your personal experiences where you have witnessed cultural differences in training programs.

Q5. “A survey by the SHRM revealed barriers including stereotyping and preconceptions, corporate culture, exclusion from informal networks, and lack of mentors and role models.” In the light of this statement explain what an organization means by managing work force diversity. Why is it important to understand and manage diversity? What are some of the characteristics of successful diversity programs which have a goal of long term success?

With reference to this statement, explain the need for: Basic Skills Training, Life Long Learning and Succession Planning.
