In this assignment, you will adapt the slide presentation and script (Module 3) into an online version of the professional development by creating a pre-recorded webinar.

Step 1. Synthesize
Synthesize the elements of your in-person slide presentation (Module 3) for a pre-recorded webinar.

Step 2. Adapt
Adapt the slide presentation and script (Module 3) to a 5- to 10-minute prerecorded webinar-formatted professional development.

Step 3. Select
Select a tool to create your video. (See resources linked on the Learning Objects page.)

Consider how you will adapt the opportunities for interactive discussion in the in-person presentation (for example, have participants create journal entries and submit to each other by email or convert the journal to a blog and share the link.).

Include videos, images, documents, and software in the webinar. Focus on relevant content images and verbal explanations, rather than inserting large quantities of text. Effective presentations have less text and more images. Be sure to follow copyright guidelines in utilizing images. Step 4. Design
Design a five-item exit survey to measure participant understanding of the webinar’s purpose, outcomes, and the relationship of teacher leadership to the initiative.

Step 5. Submit
Submit your webinar video to the assignment using the appropriate assignment submission type (i.e., File Upload, Web URL, or Text Entry). To submit an additional file (PPT, Word, etc.) or web link, click “New Attempt” on the assignment page and use the File Upload or Web URL submission type, respectively.
