Assignment: HSPP Cover Letter and Resume
Having both a cover letter and resume tailored for the HSPP positions you would like to apply for is important to ensure you are prepared and ready when positions arise. When applying for jobs, timing is both essential and something you can’t always predict. Therefore, having a foundational resume and cover letter that you can add to and make any job-specific adjustments can save you time and ensure you are prepared for a surprise job opening or tip. You want to be ready to provide these two items prior to job application deadlines and upon immediate request during the networking process. This week, you will prepare for these types of circumstances when you turn in a cover letter and a resume.
To Prepare
- Look to the Week 5 resource from Walden Career Services Center on writing an effective cover letter and resume.
