Map Analysis World’s Fair maps were an important part of the exposition experience and are an equally important artifact to understanding the ways that various themes were illustrated in the maps.
In a three-to-four-page thesis driven essay, analyze the map.  In addition to the physical attributes of the map, consider the following issues: Regarding social, cultural, ethnic, and national hierarchies and course themes, what does the map reveal and conceal?  What about geographic placement of exhibits, buildings, midway plaisance, the fair site itself?
