Your Fire Department has responded to a working structure fire with one fire engine and one aerial device.  The hydrant is located 450 feet away from the fire scene with an Orange top and Orange Caps. The static pressure of the hydrant is 90 psi. The size of the structure is 34 feet x 20 feet with 25% involvement. The Fire Chief has determined that the aerial device will not be used at this time. However, two 2 ½” lines will be put into operation with 7/8” nozzle tips.              What is the Pump Discharge Pressure needed for this scenario? Is the hydrant supply sufficient for this scenario as well?
