What did Uber (as an owner of both Uber for ride and food delivery) do to maintain the riders and restaurants who signed up with them? With the key successful factors you learned in Week 3 or 4 about digital platforms, explain how those actions Uber took work. [max 150 words]  ii. Based on what you have learned in the course lectures, workshops, readings, and other activities, suggest TWO (2) ways of how Uber can further engage these platform sides (riders and restaurants) so that they stay with Uber. d) The following questions are related to the broader market and environment that a digital platform company operates in.  i. Will Uber’s acquisition of Cornershop allow Uber to monopolise the market, an indication of winner-take-all market? You are not expected to analyse the statistics provided in the case exhibits. Instead, your answer should consider these conditions related to digital platforms – multihoming and/or switching costs – that can lead to the company taking a very large market share or monopolise the market. [max 100 words]   ii. Identify and explain the issue that Walmart faces which stopped it from acquiring Cornershop. Do you think this is fair for Walmart, Cornershop and other market players? Why?
