Formal Writing: Little Fires Everywhere Essay
After reading Celeste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere your task is to write a formal expository essay. There will be TWO body paragraphs and each body paragraph will contain at least TWO main points (P.P.C.’s) that analyze characters, themes or symbols found in the novel. You will be expected to make direct references to the novel, using textual evidence.
- The two mothers at the heart of the story, Elena and Mia, take on motherhood in very different ways; from the ways they plan for it to the choices they make as working mothers. How do you think this contributes to their understanding of the family dynamic?
