This assignment is a descriptive summary of research on a topic that has been previously studied. The purpose of this assignment is to inform your readers of the significant knowledge and ideas that have been established on a particular topic. The goal is to compare, contrast and/or connect findings that were identified while reading scholarly work. Literature reviews are often writen to ground arguments within a particular context of what is known about the subject in order to establish a foundation for your overall project (your final paper).

• Choose a topic that is related to our class materials.
• Formulate a question and/or argument that specifically describes what you would like to know about your topic.
• Locate at least 5 journal articles on your topic and write a 4-5 page literature review on the articles you have selected.
• Classify and sort your articles, organizing them in a way that is meaningful to your question/argument.
