The executive team of a Multinational Corporation (MNC) is interested in expanding into a host country. You have been hired to conduct a SWOT analysis to see if the project will be successful. In your post, state the industry, host country, fictional company name, and the structure of the venture, and conduct a SWOT analysis of the endeavor. The SWOT should be a visual such as a table or a chart with a  200-word analysis. Support your answer with at least one credible, recent source. Do not write the SWOT as a narrative (first person); instead write the post in third person.

additional notes added from teacher “Please note the instructions in Discussion 1 state to conduct a SWOT analysis on a MNC thinking of attempting into a NEW COUNTRY MARKET for the firm.  Do not summarize what a firm has already published what it has plans to do. (That would not be critically thinking).

DO NOT CHOOSE THE UNITED STATES FOR A HOST COUNTRY.  The SWOT analysis must be on expanding into a foreign country.

DO NOT WRITE THE SWOT ANALYSIS IN GENERAL TERMS.  The SWOT must be pertinent to factors in the foreign country, such as competition there, threats or governments policies which would prohibit your firm from succeeding there, etc.”
