The students will build a diagram that depicts the three governing bodies for check and balance within the legislative process.  This will have a four-page paper that details the understanding of power among those three branches, executive, legislative and judicial.  Please find resources that show how the three identities operate with a check and balance system with each other powers and must have 3 or more resources consisting of a video, article, and peer review (use the library online under Journals).  That part will help with finding resources for the final paper.
