The purpose of this final project is to apply what we have learned from our class and that address a prevalent issue in the Asian American community. The Final Project will be be in 3 Parts (1) Topic Proposal (2) Library Worksheet and (3) Final Community Report. The first step for you Final Project is identifying a potential topic, please refer to questions below:   

What is the issue?

• Identify a prevalent issue of representation in the Asian American community 

• Research the issue of representation and how Asian Americans redefine themselves culturally, politically and economically – Students will gather data from academic articles, books and databases. 
• Proposes ways in which our peers, family members and friends and broader community can support this issue


What are we going to do?

• Identify and Research a Public Official and/or a Community Organization that addresses the issue of representation
