1. MY TOPIC THAT I CHOSE IS THE AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER
2. Select ANY topic related to understanding a specific youth population, social problem or challenges facing many adolescents, or a mental health challenge. This can be one of the topics covered in the course in Modules 4-13, but does not have to be.
3. Synthesize the peer-reviewed research that explains the problem or challenge OR describes the specific adolescent population;
4. Explore the theoretical underpinnings or repercussions of this population, problem, or challenge.  
5. Identify an advocacy strategy and/or group aimed at understanding this population, problem, or challenge. 
6. Final papers should be 7-8 pages, double-spaced, not including title page or references.
7. Papers should be in APA format. Paper should include 4-5 peer-reviewed references, minimum

Please keep in mind that I would like for this to be an 8 page paper that explains the problem or challenege which is the autism spectrum disorder, explores the theoretical underpinnings or repercussions of the autism spectrum disorder, and identifies an advocacy strategy and/or group aimed at understanding the autism spectrum disorder. Please use quotation marks when citing material from the peer reviewed articles so that I can follow the citations, also make sure to please cite accurately…no plagiarisim..also add reference page at the end so that I can review that accurate sources were used. please let me know if you have any questions pertaining to the instructions that have been provided.
