Overview:
Using PowerPoint of similar platform, create an executive briefing on the events that occurred surrounding the events Charlottesville, VA. 
Role Play:
Assume you are an executive at a police department were you live.  Your chief has instructed you to research and brief the rest of the executive team on the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” Rally.  The chief wants you to provide suggestions that will help reduce the possibility of your agency experiencing the same issues. You have 15 minutes to present your findings and recommendations. 
Assignment:
Using PowerPoint or similar platform create a narrated briefing.  The briefing can not be more than 15 minute.  Narration must be embedded in the presentation.  Briefing must include:
Overview and summary of the entire eventMajor response issuesSuggestions of initiatives that should be started to avoid a repeat of the major response issues that occurred at CharlottesvilleDetailed explanation of your reasoning for each suggestion and why/how each solution will be helpfulAll suggestions should be listed priority orderProfessor Suggestions: Examine who and/or what organizations could help you in instituting your solutionProfessor Suggestions: What suggestions could the police make to other government bodies to assist them in future responses to similarYour presentation should include images and maps.  Adhere to PowerPoint guidelines (no more than 6-8 words per line [most of the time]), no more than 6 lines per slide [most of the time], remember the PowerPoint is just a guide.  You must keep your audience engaged throughout your presentation.
You must use APA in-text citations where appropriate and include an APA formatted reference page as the last slide.
