Choose one theme and examine its role in a context other than the one it was originally covered. For example, we looked at religious rituals in the context of Judaism. The Berkshire Encyclopedia of World History is what we use for class. That’s a good resource that you can use. When you cite a resource, but the reference in parentheses with the author’s last name and the page number. Eg.: (McNeil, 335).  Include a bibliography at the end of your paper.Please do not use any resources from the internet! Resources not found through the Baruch College library website are not permitted. You can use the internet to find out general ideas about a topic, but all cited sources need to be from the library.Please do not plagiarize!  Academic Integrity:   All writing submitted for this course is understood to be your own original work. In cases where we detect academic dishonesty (the fraudulent submission of another’s work, in whole or part, as your own), you may be subject to a failing grade for the project or the course, and in the worst case, to academic probation or expulsion.
