When you undertake large, complicated projects like building a house, developing a new product, or getting your children ready for school, it can be helpful to understand network management. Chapter 11 deals with two types of network management, PERT and CPM. We will be focusing on CPM, the Critical Path Method.

There are two assignments (below).
Your assignment is to do the following problems at the end of chapter 11. You will have to either draw a picture in Word or take a picture and attach it so I can see your work: Items without the scan or drawing will lose points.
Problem #1
Seth is the personnel director at a consulting company. He is considering a leadership program for managers at a client company. There are a number of activities that must be completed before the program can be conducted, and he has the time needed for each activity (below).
