reflect on the discussion about employee orientation. Think about any past job that you have held job or the one you currently hold. Write a one- to two-page paper that answers the following questions:
1. Did you receive a thorough orientation to your job?
- If so, what activities were involved? Were they valuable? Why or why not?
- If not, what would have helped you adjust to your new working environment?
2. Which do you feel is more important: a formal orientation process or the “buddy system” in which the new worker receives guidance from an experienced worker? Why?
