Argument Essay

Write an argument on an important, controversial, and arguable issue.  Present the issue, take a position, and develop a convincing, well-reasoned argument. Please include a clear thesis. Be sure to utilize all elements of persuasive writing, including consideration of a counterargument.

Assume your audience is educated with an opposing viewpoint.

For this assignment, you must use a minimum of 3 sources, at least one of them must be a print source.

You must cite your sources in MLA style and include a Works Cited page at the end. The Works Cited page does not count toward your length requirement.
