Argumentative Essay Brainstorming
Step One: Listing
Make a list of topics that you may want to write your argumentative essay about. These need to be topics that you can write about without looking at the Internet for ideas.
- Are we too dependent on computers?
- Is homework harmful or helpful?
- Should you force studying and education on your child?
- Should there be a limit on how many children a family can have?
- Is the cost of college too high?
Step Two: Brainstorming
choose one of my topics or your own. Write your topic on the chart. Then write 3 arguments that support your topic. In the second column, Look at the list of topics in Step One. Choose one topic that you would like to write about. Choose a topic that you know a lot about. You can write two opposing views.
