- Cross-Cultural Project: Paper One – Due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 10th. Post to Canvas (5 pages + a reference page, typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. font, Times New Roman = AT LEAST 6 PAGES TOTAL). Do not limit your reading and research to websites. You must include 4-5 references/scholarly resources in your final report. You may include up to three website sources (ex. .gov, .org. sites – Wikipedia does not count as a credible source for this assignment. You should also avoid personal blogs as they are usually based on opinions). Therefore, your reference page should include a minimum of 2-3 scholarly sources (peer-reviewed journal articles, books, essays from the textbook, etc.) and 2-3 websites (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Labor, Pew Report, etc.) Your reference page must be in APA format, and you should include in-text citations within your paper. - One: Group Selection – select a social identity group with which you are unfamiliar and do not belong and read/learn about that group. Discuss why you chose the social identity group you chose. = 5 points

This section should also include some statistics about the population you are studying. - Section Four: Privilege and Oppression – Discuss the impact of privilege and oppression on this group. You must reference and cite course readings and/or scholarly sources using in-text citations in APA format. = 10 points
- Section Five: Institutions – Identify local or national cultural institutions associated with that group (schools, religious institutions, social service agencies, support groups, health care, etc.). In particular, seek to identify any social services (helping) agencies that work with this population. You must reference and cite course readings and/or scholarly sources using in-text citations in APA format. = 10 points
