This week the reaction paper topic is (Employee relations).
Select a recent news article (within the last month) and examine the issues and challenges described in the article. Critique the argument put forward from the author and assess the significance of the information presented for human resources. Identify what types of changes to policy or practice the organization may need to consider. Consider the challenges of implementing the policy or practice change and make recommendations for action based on your analysis. 1. You may select your article from any reputable news source or other reliable distributor of business news, such as newspapers, business publications and credible business consulting newsletters and or websites. This is a period of extreme human resource challenge, so there shouldn’t be any shortage of sources, however, remember to select your source carefully, as there will be bots and trolls masquerading as legitimate. Be sure to cite your source for the original article. The article must be related to the topic of the week’s learning plan. 2. Your paper should follow all the standard rules of good academic composition. There must be an (1) an introduction with a thesis statement, (2) an analysis/argument supported by outside sources, (3) and a concluding paragraph, restating your thesis and any appropriate recommendations. 3. The paper should use APA formatting. Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spaced. There is no requirement for a cover page or abstract, however, a works cited, or reference page is mandatory. 4. The paper should be one page, double spaced but no more than 2 pages. The paper should have a minimum of three references outside of the original article. The textbook and any other course materials may be used as outside references. The title page and the reference page are not included in the page count.
