Reflection Paper The Interprofessional Education (IPE) sessions are university-wide efforts and unique opportunities for our student community to learn from and teach each other. The aim of the IPE is to improve your Interprofessional collaboration competencies via simulation sessions. This is the third series of IPE sessions in Health studies implementing in CUNY system. During this course you will attend two IPE sessions as an observer and/or participant. The session will be held through Zoom on October 4 and November 1. The case scenarios will be COVID-19 community health and pediatrics. You can find the case summary and other learning materials under Interprofessional Education under main menu on blackboard. After observing or/and participating the IPE session, you need to write a reflection paper to share your thoughts and reactions to the sessions. When you are writing this paper imagine having your classmates, course instructor, IPE coordinators and future students for this course as your audience. You will be asked to share your own personal experiences and thoughts about the experience in this paper. This assignment is an opportunity for you to think critically and reflect on how your personal experiences and observations shape your thinking and your ability to accept or reject new experiences. Equally important, it is an opportunity for the course instructor, the IPE coordinator and other faculty members to learn about the strength and weak points of the IPE program, and improve the sessions in the future. Your paper may convince your peers and future students to select this course and participate in the IPE sessions and contribute to the sessions as a participant. This assignment is a formal writing assignment. You need to write an organized essay of 4-5 pages to describe your reactions and analyze your experience as an observer or/and a participant in the sessions. Your paper should be in 12 font style, Times New Roman, double space.
