Whole food Market focuses on fresh organic and natural food，So can not be stored for a long time，so if the roads are locked down then we may not be able to restock。 Secondly, due to the persistent snow every day ,the market may close or have practically no business . Global Insight showed that a single day of closure in New York might cost the economy as much as $700 million, with $152 million coming from missed retail sales .the vast majority of those abandoned deals probably took place face-to-face.Therefore, blizzards impede the prosperity of businesses by preventing customers from reaching retail stores. Although, Whole food Market is now owned by amazon, and amazon supports delivery, but because of the blizzard, the number of couriers will be greatly reduced, or the delivery will not be possible. lastly, due to the short expiry periods of whole foods, these storms are likely to interfere with power, will making them go bad.
