The NJ 2nd Congressional District 2022 Election Debate was held at Stockton University on October 19, 2022. The debate between Tim Alexander (Democrat) and Jeff Van Drew (Republican) involved significant discussion of current issues of great important to inequality and poverty in the United States, and specifically in the local Southern New Jersey region.

1) How do the positions of Tim Alexander and Jeff Van Drew regarding political policies proposed, debated, and (in some case at least partially) enacted in Congress to address inflation, global warming, criminal justice and immigration policy reflect the traditional perspectives of Liberals and Conservatives, respectively, on addressing inequality and poverty?
