Analysis Essay (AE) due by 4pm, Dec. 1 in Module 7

Analysis Essay (AE) is worth 80 points and is due by 4pm, Dec. 1 in the AE section of the Module 7 area in Canvas as a doc (Microsoft Word), docx (Microsoft Word), or rtf (rich text format) file. Analysis Essays submitted late will have the following number of points deducted for late submission.

Analysis Essays submitted between 4:01pm, Dec. 1 and 4:00pm on Dec. 2 will have 12 points deducted for lateness.

Analysis Essays submitted between 4:01pm, Dec. 2 and 4:00pm on Dec. 3 will have 18 points deducted for lateness.

Analysis Essay (AE) cannot be submitted after 4pm, Dec. 3.​

You must submit your 5-7 paragraph, double-spaced essay as a doc, docx, or rtf file. Double space between all lines without extra spaces between paragraphs. Indent the first line of each paragraph 5 spaces. Do not use quotes from any source. Use your own words.

Submit a typed, double-spaced essay. Discuss each prompt in your essay. Each prompt can be addressed in 1 paragraph. You must submit at least 5 paragraphs for the essay. You can add additional paragraphs if needed but do not submit more than 7 paragraphs. There is a sample essay in Module 7 that gives students a model of what an essay looks like.

Your discussion needs to be in complete sentences and must be in your own words. Do not use quotes from any source for essays. Only your name is needed at the top of the page you submit. The only sources to be used for this essay are the textbook and video. This paper is based on chapter 14 of the textbook. Always refer to the video as the video in your essay.

Respond to each of the following the essay.

1. Briefly summarize the video and compare and contrast the information in the video to the information in chapter 14.

2. Discuss how stress impacts illness. Discuss at least 3 specific examples of stress related illness.

3. Discuss how your perceptions of stress impact your response to stress. Discuss at least 1 specific example.

4. Discuss what good stress is and how it could be related to happiness.

5. Discuss 2 specific ways to cope with stress. Indicate which type of coping would work best for you.

Essays submitted between 4:01pm, 12/1 and 4pm, 12/2 will have 12 points deducted for lateness. Essays submitted between 4:01pm, 12/2 and 4pm, 12/3 will have 18 points deducted for lateness.
