Chapter 13 Discussion Forum – Organiational Power & Politics

 Each student will create their own initial post from the chapter reading by answering the three questions below. The purpose of this assignment is for you to make a personal connection with the information you are learning. Your initial posts must be written from your own personal perspective of the material and must not be a regurgitation of the information contained within the chapter. Because your audience for this forum has already read the chapter, please do not repeat information in your posts that they have already read. Your initial post must be no less than 300 words, must be detailed, and must show evidence of your critical thinking skills. All posts must be written in your own words and not copied in any way from the textbook or any other sources. The three questions that each of you must answer in your initial post are: 

Q1. What were the three main ideas that stood out for you from this chapter? 

Q2. Without repeating information from the textbook, why are those main ideas from the chapter important to you? (In other words, how have you experienced the concepts/principles discussed in this chapter?Q3. How will you use the information in this chapter in your work life AND what outcomes/results do you expect to achieve by doing so? 

 When writing your initial post that answers these three questions, please label your answers according to the question number (using the numbers 1, 2, and 3). Do not re-write the questions in your answer.  I will be grading these forums on (a) your ability to answer the above questions with critical thought and appropriate detail, (b) your ability to follow all directions given in this assignment.
