Each chapter of our text ends with a list of references the author used to create that chapter. This assignment gives you an opportunity to dive into a bit of source material. You are free to choose any topic that interests you! Here’s what I want you to do:

 1. Select an article referenced by the author (NOTE: you’re looking for a peer-reviewed journal, not a video or a book). 

2. Find a copy of the article. You might search the CSU Library website or try Google Scholar. 

3. Submit a copy of the article showing your annotations. See note below. 

4. Submit a one-page (double-spaced) reflection that summarizes the article, offers additional questions the article raised in you, etc. 

NOTE: I have attached samples of annotated articles. One sample, the student printed out the article and used a pen for annotation. In the other sample, the student annotated the pdf on the computer.
