Criminal Justice Term Paper

Please write a 2-3 page paper for EACH question listed below. There are three questions, so your total TERM PAPER will be from 6-9 pages in length. Submit ALL three at the same time as ONE paper.
**The textbook needed for this paper is called Correction in America an Introduction (15th Edition) **This will be one of the two sources required for each question. The other ssource can be from the internet** Please all sources in a reference page.

 Please use at least two references for each answer. The textbook shall be one and you must find at least one other reference. In citing your statements, use the following system:

TERM PAPER QUESTIONS (Please respond separately to all three questions and submit all at one time.) Please use each question as a sub-header in your submission.

1. Trace the development of punishment from Greek and Roman times, through the Middle Ages and up to the Age of Enlightenment.

2. Describe Intermediate Sanctions and provide examples of this sanction type. What was the social-political context in America that led to the creation of this sanction type? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using intermediate sanctions?

3. What can be done to reduce prison over-crowding? Are there any successful models for reducing overcrowding? If so, describe those efforts.
