Chapter 2 informs us that Self-Perception influences how we talk to ourselves, how we talk about ourselves to others, the ‘self’ we present to others, and our ability to communicate with others.
In your own words, define Self-Concept and Self-Esteem, and then provide an example from your life of how you were able to alter your self-concept and improve your self-esteem. An example you might share could be a life-altering event, health issue (for you or a family member), work-related difficulty, social transgression from your youth (e.g., bullying). Provide details specific enough that we understand the context, perception, who was involved, how it was processed, etc.
Your response should be 1-2 pages,12-point font, Times New Roman, double space, no title page, title, or heading and the examples you provide from your life and from the textbook should be in bold in your response.
