Create a presentation/lecture on the topic of “The Impact of Senior Administrative Leadership on the Role and Mission of the Christian College and University” provided in a PowerPoint presentation. The purpose of this assignment is to understand the role and responsibilities of senior leaders in supporting, protecting, and promoting their Christ-centered mission to transform the lives of students and faithfully relate scholarship and service to biblical truth. A literature review (beyond the assigned readings) that focuses on how senior leaders in CHEIs impact the integrity, effectiveness, and advancement of the institutional mission and the unique role these institutions have within higher education generally should assist you in devising an outstanding lecture and PowerPoint presentation. Consider and discuss the following elements in your presentation:  

• Briefly explain the unique role and mission of CHEIs;
• The roles and responsibilities of key senior leaders in the institution (e.g., the Board of Trustees, President, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Student Affairs Officer, etc.);
• How each of the senior leaders influence their institution’s mission and vision
• The principles that guide the work of senior leaders in supporting, protecting, and advancing the unique mission of the Christian institution they serve and the cause of CHEIs in general.

I suggest that you develop a basic script first and then formulate a PowerPoint presentation to complement and support it. The presentation should utilize APA formatting (7th ed.) for in-text citations and references. You may use the notes section of the Ppt, as necessary, to expand on the main points in your slides. 

Master’s Students:

Create a half-hour lecture on “The Impact of Senior Administrative Leadership on the Role and Mission of the Christian College and University” provided in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. You should utilize a minimum of four scholarly sources beyond the required course texts. The presentation should contain 20 – 25 slides, not including the title slide and references. (Keep in mind you are creating a presentation and not a paper.)
