Final research paper on a topic related to Latina/o communities and the criminal justice system in the United States: (A 6 page—not including cover page and references—typewritten, APA-style research paper on a topic approved by the professor.)  Topics must be drawn from this syllabus and/or assigned reading materials from this class. The professor will provide additional instructions about the annotated bibliography. 

The Paper must be in APA form. Sources used must academic journals.
