I look forward to your submissions of Paper: Argumentative Research on Sunday 4/10 @ 11:59 pm. Most of you have discussed your topics with me but if you are stuck on anything or have writer’s block, be sure to reach out as soon as possible. My biggest tip is to remember that you are bringing something new and intrguing to the table because that conversation has probably already been going on for a long time at that table. Since it is only 2 pages, be sure to specify down so you are able to properly tackle your angle of that topic of conversation. Try using Who/What/Where/When/Why specifications to help you narrow your research. Also, your argumentative question (which should be a yes/no question), will be the title of your essay. There are examples in this week’s folder, other resources from the textbook, and the rubric to help you with your writing process. Here is an example from a previous student. Be sure to review all the criteria (page numbers, MLA format, etc.) before submitting.
